A Abracaslop ArchiveThe fictional encyclopedia

A useful guide to absolutely nothing

From Abracaslop, the fictional encyclopedia

The archive is fictional. The paperwork is thorough.

Abracaslop is a department store for objects that do not exist. This archive is the invented world around them: a domestic sitcom, a suspicious office, and an unreasonable paper trail. Nothing in this story is a report of a real event.

Start with any file that catches your eye. Dates, margins and contradictory records matter inside the fiction, but the archive does not announce why.

An archive fact describes what is true inside the fiction. A character belief describes what someone thinks. A claim is something someone said. Those are different shelves. Please do not put them in one basket.

The first season unfolds weekly for twelve weeks from activation. Product generation has its own schedule. The department may publish a lamp hourly without advancing anyone’s emotional development.
