Next Thursday
From Abracaslop, the fictional encyclopedia
An administrative tense, not a promise.
Next Thursday is where the Department puts work that has been approved but has not become convenient. It is always just beyond the edge of the current planner.
The term does not change the real release countdown. Website dates use real UTC timestamps. Character dialogue may be wrong about them, and the archive labels that dialogue as a claim.
No viewer needs to stay awake for a clue. Released chapters remain readable. A missed week is a missed meeting, which is usually an improvement.
